Moses made a fiery brass serpent, and set it on a pole so that everyone who was a sinner, when he saw it, should live.  And as Moses lifted up the brass serpent in the wilderness, so was Jesus the Messiah lifted up so that everyone who is a sinner and believes in Jesus will not perish, but have eternal life.

Stop the Slaughter of Babies

Stop the Slaughter of Babies graphically shows the number of babies being slaughtered in America on a daily basis. The raw number of babies dying, and rarely being reported in the news like Sandy Hook was, is absolutely horrifying. Sandy Hook should be an eye opener to us that it is time to Stop the Slaughter of Babies in America. The only way the slaughter can be stopped is for every single American to say “Never Again”.

Approaching the anniversary of Sandy Hook, we should remember the loss of those 20 babies at the hands of a violent gunman. But we should also remember the loss every single day of an additional 3304 babies at the hands of abortion doctors in America, and 109,589 babies lost every single day at the hands of abortion doctors worldwide.

Right after the Sandy Hook massacres I tried to picture the event based on the limited news information and photos.  I tried to picture what had happened in that school.  I tried to picture what those parents were going through. I couldn't, though.  The massacre was so horrifying that I couldn't deal with it in my mind.  It was so evil that my mind tried to shut itself off.

I can understand why that community refused the release of photos and other information.  These were their babies, and unspeakable evil had been done to these babies.  For the Sandy Hook parents, every moment, every single breath must have been sheer agony.  A year later, I am crying as I try to write this.

What kind of evil, disturbed person can possibly take a gun and slaughter children with it?

As a father, I cannot imagine the evil that it takes to commit such heinous acts.  I looked at my own children of the same age and tried to picture their bodies riddled with bullets.  My mind recoiled in horror.  I hope that none of the Sandy Hook parents actually saw their children after they had been slaughtered.  Murdered doesn't seem a strong enough word.  I don't think slaughtered is strong enough either, but I don't know what to call it.

Slaughtering babies is ALWAYS an evil act.  Nothing can ever justify it.

I have been pro-life for a long time, but Sandy Hook reminded me that I had put out of my mind the slaughtering of babies that happens every day in America, in the world, in slaughterhouses that we euphemistically call abortion clinics.  I have been busy raising my own babies and trying to protect them from the evil in the world.

The Sandy Hook babies have their parents to speak for them, and remind others of the horror and evil that an evil man can do to children with a gun.  However, I realized that it was time for me to also start raising my voice, not to protect guns, but to protect the Unborn children being slaughtered all around us every day.

The slaughter of Unborn babies is no less heinous and evil than the slaughter at Sandy Hook.

Every single one of these babies, Born or Unborn, is a human person, loved or unloved.  Every single one of these babies deserves to live.

What kind of evil, disturbed person can possibly take a knife or vacuum cleaner and slaughter babies with it?

When an evil person kills babies with a gun, we lock them up in prison or a mental institution.

When evil people kill babies with knives and vacuum cleaners we pay them with taxpayer dollars, call them heroes, and vote for them.

Slaughtering Babies is ALWAYS an evil act.

Why do we deplore slaughtering with guns, but openly advocate slaughtering with abortion?

Evil is Evil, and the Slaughter of Babies must be stopped.

As long as I live, I will never forget the evil horror of the slaughter at Sandy Hook.  Let's hope that I also never forget the daily, evil horror of abortion slaughter.
